Rocco Bianco

Rocco is qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales and as an Avvocato in Italy.

Over the years, Rocco, who is also registered with the Italian Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione) and has been granted rights of audience in the Italian High Courts, has acted for large corporations, banks and SMEs, as well as high net worth individuals with interests in the EU. He has also held a number of prominent positions in Italy, including Deputy Public Prosecutor for the Court of Turin (1997) and Official Receiver in Bankruptcy for the Court of Rome.

Rocco was a former member of the Joint Commission between the State and the Sicilian Region, a body of constitutional importance (in 2018 he was appointed as representative of the State), as well as a former parliamentary collaborator (appointed in 2019 by decree of the President of the Chamber of Deputies), former legal advisor to the Minister for Relations with Parliament (until March 2022) and former head of the secretariat of a group in the Veneto Regional Council, 

For the academic year 2018/2019, Rocco has been appointed as Contract Professor of "Business and Company Law in the UK" and for the academic years 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 as Contract Professor of "Law of New Technologies" for the Degree Course in Law at the University of Rome Link Campus.

Rocco's areas of expertise include banking, financial services, corporate finance, insurance, corporate and commercial property and sports agency.

Rocco was also one of the founders of the Italian branch of Avocats Sans Frontières and has defended the rights of Italian citizens before the European Court of Human Rights. 

Rocco divides his time between Rome, Venice and London.

He speaks Italian and English.
