Dr Jonathan Levy

Jonathan Levy is a dual qualified California Lawyer (Attorney) and English Solicitor, who is based in the United States and London. He is also admitted as a solicitor (currently non-practicing) in Ireland and the British Virgin Islands.

Jonathan was awarded a PhD in Political Science (University of Cincinnati) and has been a faculty member at Norwich University since 2006 and instructs graduate level seminars in International Law, Counter Terrorism, and African and Asian studies.

As an Attorney, Jonathan concentrates on cross-border issues including litigation, finance, securities, crypto assets, federal and company law.

As a Solicitor, Jonathan focuses on the British overseas territories, capital markets, EU and national constitutional claims and petitions and bilateral and multilateral trade agreements and international organisations and tribunals.

Jonathan’s work in crypto assets (cryptocurrency, metalaw, decentralized assets, tokens and NFTs) includes representing investors and issuers, due diligence and legal opinion letters, and crypto asset structures.

Jonathan also represents significant confidential whistleblower reward claims worldwide, human rights claims, and restitution cases.

In addition to working as a lawyer, Jonathan is a board member with NGOs and charities involving social justice and anti-corruption in Africa and Eastern Europe.
