Rocco Bianco is both qualified in England and Wales as a Solicitor and in Italy as an Avvocato (currently, non practising).
Over the years Rocco, who was also enrolled at the Italian Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione) and has been granted rights of audience in the Italian High Courts, has acted for large companies, banks and SMEs, as well as high-net-worth individuals with interests in the EU. He has also held a number of prominent positions in Italy, including Deputy Attorney at the Prosecutor's office of the Court of Turin (1997) and Official Receiver in Bankruptcy for the Court of Rome.
Rocco was a former member of the Joint State-Region Sicilian Commission, a body of Constitutional importance (in 2018, he was appointed to represent the State) as well as former Parliamentary Collaborator (appointed in 2019, by Decree of the President of the Chamber of Deputies) and former Advisor for legal issues to the Minister of Relations with Parliament (up to March 2022). He is currently Head of Secretary of a Group in the Regional Council of Veneto,
For the Academic Year 2018/2019 Rocco was appointed Contract Professor of "Business and Company Law in the UK" and for the Academic Year 2020/2021 Contract Professor in "New Technologies Law" for the Course of Studies in Law, by the University of Rome Link Campus University.
Rocco’s areas of expertise include banking, financial services, corporate finance, insurance, company and commercial property and sports representation.
Rocco was also a founder of the Italian branch of Avocats Sans Frontières and has defended the rights of Italian citizens before the European Court of Human Rights.
Rocco shares his time between Rome, Venice and London.
